In 1984 the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India selected me for a senior diplomatic position as the First Secretary( Educationn & Hindi ) for the Indian High Commission, Suva , Fiji Islands. I worked in the mission for three years 19841987 ) This Diplomatic assignment gave me the opportunity to understand the importance and strength of Indian diaspora and work in this direction. This allowed me to research and publish four books related to the Creative Hindi Literature of Fiji, Surinam, Mauritius and South Africa. The published titles are
